India played well at perth

India won the match at perth.Pointing said The advantage at Perth was lost in the first two sessions of the second day, when we collapsed to 60-odd for five.it was the partnership between Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid that took them to a position of strength, and in the second innings, just when we were in with a sniff, the lower order played with grit, around VVS Laxman. It was an inspired spell of bowling by Indians, young, inexperienced pacers, and full marks to them for bowling according to a plan and hitting good areas. They managed to swing the ball and keep it in the channel, and as MS Dhoni's five catches would suggest they were in the channel for most of the time they bowled. It must equally be said that we did not help our cause with our shot selection, and most of the top-order would be pretty disappointed with some of the shots they played. Adam Gilchrist and Andrew Symonds did get us past 200, but once we conceded a 118-run lead, we knew that we were behind the game.Full credit must be given to the Indian batsmen as well, because they did negotiate with some good pace bowling in both innings. In the first innings, It was at these two crucial moments, our first innings, and then when we had broken through the Indian middle-order, that we faltered, and perhaps lost the Test.
